Movie trailer: Divergent (Teaser Trailer)

Sunday, August 25, 2013
The longer version of the teaser trailer for Divergent is here. I think is the first time I actually watched the VMA and that was just because of the trailer.

I still like the bad ass character and I concluded that I must read the books just to know what is going on in the trailer.
 Synopsis (Source Goodreads):
In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue--Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is--she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are--and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes exasperating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threaten to unravel her seemingly perfect society, Tris also learns that her secret might help her save the ones she loves . . . or it might destroy her.
To be released in March 2014.

How many of you read the Divergent books? Did you liked them more than The Hunger Games?

Movie Trailer: Divergent Official First Look Tease

Thursday, August 22, 2013

I think that the only dystopian novel I've read is The Hunger Games. Now, I know that this is all we get from Divergent for now, but I think I already love it more than The Hunger Games. I will most definitely start reading the novels as well.

To be released in March 2014
In a future world people are divided into factions based on personality, a teenager is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, her life is threatened.

Movie Trailer: Vampire Academy - Blood Sisters

Wednesday, August 14, 2013
The trailer is here, but I really don't know what to say.

When I saw the sneak peek yesterday I was excited, but now after seeing the actual trailer I am a little meh. I loved the books and that is way I was over the top when I heard about the movie, I like the actress that plays Rose, even though she doesn't necessary looks like her. But hey, we get used to the actors in time. I like the fighting scenes, but I don't think I like the settings, I imagined them different. Now I am scared to see the movie. Anyway, enjoy the trailer.

The Sneak Peek:

Movie Trailer: City of Bones

Wednesday, November 14, 2012
Well, it is here. I am a fan of the concept of the books and I was oh so curious about how the movie would look like and besides a photo we had with Clary:
...and the movie poster, which I simply love:
...we now have the trailer:
And now I must say that I am actually excited about the movie. I was not a big fan of the cast choosing, and then again we never are, but let's face it...after the first movie we forget that the character is not exactly like the book or not as we imagined.

City of Bones Synopsis:
Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Lily Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother (Lena Headey), Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures. Based on the worldwide best-selling book series.
